Maldives National Team arrives in Kathamandu

Kathmandu, NEPAL - Maldives national football team has arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal today after the training camp in Thailand for the AFC Challenge Cup.
Maldives played three friendly matches against Thailand teams and played one match against the Thai national team.
Maldives lost the first friendly game against Thai national team by 3-0. And their second friendly was against TTM Pijit, which was leveled by 1-1. Assad Ali scored the goal against Pijit.
Maldives played their third friendly against Osot Spa, which also leveled by 2-2. And Maldives lost their fourth friendly match against Bangkok by 2-1.
Speaking to goalnepal.com after their arrival, coach said that that the team is fresh from the trip to Thailand.
"We are fresh back from the trip in Thailand. The trip in Thailand went good but the results were otherwise".

"We are ready for the matches", Urbanyi said, "All the teams in the group have equal chance of entering the second round".

Maldives are clubbed with Nepal, Palestine and Turkmenistan in Group A.
